News | Kanye West’s 8th Studio Untitled Album Arrives Tonight via WAV & Stationhead apps

Whoopity-scoop-whoop-poop, the time has come… Yeezy Season is officially in full effect.

We are mere hours away until Kanye West releases his highly anticipated 8th studio album, which is still untitled. During the majority of 2017, Kanye took his talents to the mountain tops of Wyoming to work on this album.

As with Kanye West, this album’s debut will come in form of a livestream listening session live from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This event is very similar to his 2016 closed-circuit stream of The Life of Pablo during the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, only this time fans don’t have to rush down to their local movie theater to access the huge event – those who want to take part will have to download the Stationhead app, (this app allows fans to listen to the event on G.O.O.D. Music Channel) or download the WAV App to watch the event in real time. Both WAV and Stationhead apps are available on both Apple and Android.

The stream of the album and discussion will promptly start at 9 p.m. Eastern – Many media outlets and journalists (not this one for some reason) are on hand for the event. The listening session even has its own merch!

Back in April, YEEZUS stated that his new album would be seven songs, this was later confirmed by the President of G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T, during his album listening party that all G.O.O.D Music albums currently lined up will be seven songs. This new Kanye West album is the 2nd album of 5 scheduled from the label, with Pusha T’s Daytona being the first released last week.

Going out on a limb here, but I’m certain that Ye Vs The People will not make the album, but I have a feeling that a different version of Lift Yourself with actual lyrics will be present.

Kanye West officially “released” his 8th studio album simply titled “Ye”, the 7 track album features the likes of Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla $ign, Valee, 070 Shake, Charlie Wilson, and a voicemail from Nicki Minaj at the conclusion of the 7th track.

Though the album is not currently available to stream, Kanye has released Wyoming merch consisting of long sleeves and hoodies, the prices range from $65-$145. Each purchase comes with the Ye album, which will be emailed once its made available. You can purchase at shop.kanyewest.com .
