News | The Trailer for ‘Morbius’ Starring Jared Leto has Arrived – Could this film be Connected to the MCU?

Spider-Man’s rogues gallery are on the rise and looks like their taking over the the big screen once again.

This morning, Sony Pictures Entertainment released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming film Morbius. Jared Leto stars as Michael Morbius, a doctor who is very desperate to find a cure for his rare blood disorder illness, goes to lengths unimaginable and once he believes he’s on the verge of finding a cure, his life changes for the worse. As with any antihero story arc, anything can go wrong and it does as Michael soon transforms into the monstrous vampire known as Morbius.

The Morbius trailer also answers some serious questions fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had since the release of ‘Venom’ in 2018 – that being are these films connected? Well Michael Keaton’s Vulture character from ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ should answer that question as he appears speaking to Morbius during the trailer.

Morbius is expected to hit theaters this upcoming summer.
