News | NWA Champion, Nick Aldis Raises the Stakes for Cody Rhodes Ahead of Their Championship Match at ALL IN

As announced at the ALL IN Press Conference in Chicago two weeks ago, Cody Rhodes informed the media (and the wrestling world) that he will indeed challenge for the NWA Championship at the ALL IN event on September 1st. Since the challenge was made, Nick Aldis, the reigning and defending NWA Heavyweight Champion has gone on record stating that he hasn’t been shown any respect and until he gets more info on why his title will be up for grabs, there won’t be a NWA championship match at ALL IN.

Earlier tonight at Ring of Honor’s “Honor United” show, Nick Aldis informed Cody that he would defend the NWA Championship against him at ALL IN, under one condition – The condition being the Cody must win the ROH Championship first and also put the title on the line come September 1st.

Once again, the stakes have been raised. One would have to imagine that Cody is definitely looking to cash in his rematch clause for the Ring of Honor Heavyweight Championship against Dalton Castle ASAP.
