Exclusive Interview | Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks Talks Challenging for IWGP Tag Team Heavyweight Titles, Championship Matches Set for ‘ALL IN’ & More

Matt, alongside his brother Nick are one half of the most celebrated Tag Teams in wrestling today, The Young Bucks. The Young Bucks have won numerous tag team championships around the world, including the New Japan Pro Wrestling Ring Junior Tag Team Championships and Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships.
The accolades don’t stop at wrestling championships – The Bucks along with members of the Bullet Club were the first independent wrestlers to strike a deal with Hot Topic. On a weekly basis, The Young Bucks merchandise are among one of the highest sold at the retailer.
The team is so on fire, Funko Pop reached out about the possibility of creating Pop figures of The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and Kenny Omega – And as they say, the rest is history as the set of Pop figures featuring The Bullet Club are available for pre-order.
During our interview, Matt went into great detail on some of the ins and outs of ALL IN on September 1st, such as how the city of Chicago was chosen over California to host, revealing that not only will the NWA Heavyweight title be defended on the show, but the ROH Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line, and if ‘ALL IN’ will have pyrotechnics. Matt also spoke on what’s he’s looking forward next in his career. One of his goals is to win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles with his brother on June 9th at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Dominion against EVIL and SANADA.
