News | WWE Announces Money In The Bank & NXT Pay Per Views for Chicago this June

After a huge return to the United Center this past weekend, the WWE has announced the Money In The Bank Pay Per View will emulate from the Allstate Arena this June. This isn’t the first time Chicago has hosted the ladder climbing, briefcase grabbing event. Back in 2011, the Allstate Arena was sold out and red hot for the event. Notable wins from the 2011 event were Daniel Bryan winning the SmackDown Money In The Bank briefcase and of course CM Punk defeating John Cena for the WWE Championship and “leaving the company” with the championship.

What new memories will be made on June 17? As announced by WWE, going forward after WrestleMania, all Pay Per View events will be co-branded, meaning RAW and SmackDown Live will both showcase their roster in respective matches. So does this mean four Money In The Bank matches – Two matches from each brand featuring the men and women?

Also the WWE Network’s flagship show NXT will be returning to the Windy City the night before Money In The Bank on June 16th with a special Pay Per View of their own.

Tickets for WWE Money In The Bank and NXT go on-sale this Friday March 9th. The pre-sale kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday March 7th. Fans can also purchase combo packs for both events, for more info visit buff.ly/2oHudqT.
