‘Tis the summer music festival season is upon us. True Chicagoans know it’s about that time when the hottest summer music festivals in the city start rolling out their lineups.

Pitchfork is currently live, revealing more of the lineup for the Pitchfork Music Festival. Some additions to the lineup are Living Legend Chaka Khan, The War On Drugs, Courtney Barnett, Earl Sweatshirt, Big Thief, Mount Kimbie, Moses Sumney, Smino, Girlpool, Syd, Kweku Collins, and more are still being added.

Today, Pitchfork has began to unveil their huge lineup for the Pitchfork Music Festival set to take over Union Park on July 20-22 via a livestream of an artist painting in most of the names of the acts who are set for #P4Kfest.
The likes of Tame Impala, DRAM, Raphael Saadiq, This Is Not This Heat are only a few names confirmed so far.
The unveiling of the lineup livestream is currently live, you can watch here. A lot of viewers are not too fond of this particular way of releasing a music festival lineup and are speaking their minds in the comments section stating “it’s literally watching paint dry”.
