News | Gal Gadot equips the Lasso of Truth Once Again in New Trailer for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’

She’s back…

After a three year hiatus, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) is set to make her grand return to the silver screen next summer for “Wonder Woman 1984”. This sequel doesn’t quite pick up where the first film left off- no, there’s indeed a huge time jumps to America in 1984.

The action-packed trailer packs a ton, including over the top action, Wonder Woman swinging from lightening, and the introduction of new characters, including Kristen Wiig’s version of Cheetah, one of Diana Prince’s notorious archenemy.

Also, for the first time on the big screen, Wonder Woman dawns a new gold suit of armor. What new threats does Diana Prince and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) face this time around? Looks like we’ll have to wait until 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters June 5, 2020

UPDATE

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Wonder Woman 1984 will now be released in theaters on August 14th.
