- Provide a link to the song (Soundcloud, YouTube, Spotify, etc.)
- Include your social media handles
- Finally, email me everything listed above.
The first five chosen songs will be featured on the site beginning next Friday, November 17th and continuing in the following weeks.
This week’s edition of New Music Friday features a Chicago rap artist making moves, a new track from the self-proclaimed “Rap God”, Chromeo brings the funk back, and Taylor Swift releases Reputation, the artist’s sixth studio album.
Eminem feat. Beyoncé – Walk On Water
Eminem’s upcoming 9th studio album “Revival” was hinted (and later confirmed) by his manager Paul Rosenberg on Twitter through a post that promoted Shady Records artist Yelawolf’s new album “Trail By Fire”. The album is scheduled for release on November 17th. Today, Eminem has dropped the first single Walk on Water featuring Beyoncé. Also don’t forget, Shady will be performing live on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on November 18th.
Pharaoh Godtte – FIRED
After releasing visuals for the tracks I GO and F**k ‘Em Up back to back, the hustle doesn’t stop as Pharaoh Godtte dropped a new track this week titled “FIRED”. The description of the song reads “When’s the last time you’ve heard a rapper rap about being fired and then sending shots at their former employer? This is that song. #FIRED”
Word has it that Pharaoh already has a new music video set to drop in the coming weeks.
Chromeo – Juice
After announcing that their new album “Head Over Heels” is on the way, this week Chromeo has provided fans with the first single “Juice”. Earlier this week, the group took a moment on Instagram to reveal that Head Over Heels will be their most collaborative project yet. If Juice is any indication, this album might be Chromeo’s best yet.
Taylor Swift – Reputation
Taylor Swift is back and she’s putting her “reputation” on the line with the release of new studio album Reputation. The album features 15 tracks, including the singles Look What You Made Me Do and …Ready For It? Both Ed Sheeran and Future make guest verse appearances.
Currently the album is not available to stream on any streaming services, but fans can purchase the album on iTunes.
