News | Marvel’s ‘The Punisher’ Netflix Series Arrives This November

After speculation arose that the new gritty anti-hero series would be arriving to a Netflix account near you in October, Netflix revealed today that all 13 episodes of the new ‘The Punisher’ series will be available on November 17th.

If you’re unfamiliar with The Punisher, the show follows a man named Frank Castle, a former War Veteran whose family is unmercifully killed. His mission now is not only revenge but to also rid the earth of criminals, in doing so that they can no longer do no wrong again.

So yes, he’s not your typical superhero. Matt Murdoch aka DareDevil found this out when he came toe to toe with Frank in season two of DareDevil.

From watching the trailer, it seems as the series will take place after the events of season two of DareDevil as Karen Page is featured heavily throughout. The trailer also sheds some light on Frank Castle’s origin story on how he became The Punisher.

The Punisher stars Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Jason R Moore (Curtis Hoyle), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (David Lieberman/Micro) and more.
