News | Watch WWE 2K18’s “Be Like No One” Gameplay Trailer

Fans of WWE games can rejoice, the trailer for WWE 2K18 is finally here.

Today, 2K (WWE Games) has unveiled via IGN the official “Be Like No One” gameplay trailer for WWE 2K18, and like always it packs a lot.

Last year’s WWE 2K17 brought back the ability for players to take the action from the ring to backstage with the Backstage Brawl. This year 2K has expanded on the Backstage Brawl, adding new areas and interactive objects that the WWE Superstars can dismantle their opponents with.

Backed by the tune of Motley Crue’s Kickstart My Heart, the trailer also showcases the new lightening system and 8-Man in-ring action, a first in the franchise’s history. In this year’s edition of WWE 2K, 8-Man Battle Royals, Royal Rumble, Tag Team, and Money In The Bank matches can all be done this time around. Making its return to the series is the Match Creator, where you can customize certain match types to your liking. One can hope for the return of the special referee match option

If you watch the trailer closely or slow it down, you can get a glance of Superstars not shown in the Roster Reveal, such as Natalya, Triple H, Braun Strowman, Sasha Banks, The Undertaker, Charlotte Flair and what looks like to be an updated version of current WWE Champion Jinder Mahal to better match his new persona.

WWE 2K18 is due out on October 17th and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Players can pre-order the Deluxe Edition to gain access to play the game four days early on October13th.
