“No one man should have all that power.”
All the strategizing, all the arguing, and all the fighting; it was all worth it in the end… As now I am a proud owner of a pair of Yeezy Boost 350.
This past Wednesday, I successfully used the Adidas Confirmed App in reserving my pair. In my opinion, I truly believe this release of the Yeezy Boost 350 went way smoother than the Yeezy Boost 750 release back in February. It seems Adidas had a better strategy in distributing this time around.
When I entered the location (where I was told my shoes were being held) I noticed a very small line of about 14 people. I knew from the start, this was the Yeezy Boost 350 winner’s line. With further inspection, I noticed when a customer was next; they handed over their phone and I.D. to one of the two Adidas Confirmed representatives. That representative would then hand back the customer’s I.D. and scan the customer’s phone for the reservation barcode. Everything was normal up until the Adidas Confirmed representative asked to keep their phone until they returned from the back with the shoes. Very strange to say the least. When it was my turn, I went through the exact same procedure. Handed over my I.D. and phone, representative scanned phone for reservation, and asked to keep my phone until he returned with my shoes. I paid and that was that, I was out the door.
