News | UFC 225 is coming to Chicago
The explosive action of the UFC is heading back to Chicago this June.This spring, for the first time ever, the United Center will play host to a UFC pay per view – UFC 225. The last UFC pay per view event held in the Chicago surrounding area was UFC 90 emulating from the Allstate Arena in 2008.
In the past, the United Center has hosted many UFC Fight Night events, including the action-packed bout between Holly Holm and Valentina Shevchenko in 2016.
UFC fans in the Windy City can score tickets to UFC 225 beginning April 13th.
At this time, no bouts have been announced, but news has surfaced about Chicago native CM Punk competing in his 2nd fight this year. After the initial announcement of UFC 225, Punk tweeted some intrigued emojis signifying his interest in the event. Could UFC 225 be the place?

UPDATE
The first bout set to take place at UFC 225 has just been announced by the UFC. Claudia Gadelha and Carla Esparza are scheduled to do battle on June 9th.
