News | WE DAY Illinois 

This Thursday, the Allstate Arena will be host to WE DAY Illinois.

What exactly is WE Day? WE Day is described as “a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities”. Throughout the year, students partake in the WE Schools program. In the yearlong program, students are educated on local and global issues, and are given the tools to create change in the world.

By completing the program, students are rewarded tickets to WE DAY.

All walks of life will be present to celebrate and congratulate the students on their hard work and dedication. Presenters and performers include Martin Luther King III, Paula Abdul, Ciara, Kardinal Offishall, Craig Kielburger and many more.

15,000 students and educators from more than 435 schools across the state of Illinois will pack the Allstate Arena to celebrate WE DAY Illinois.
