News | Lollapalooza Turns 25; Adds Fourth Day
It was announced today in celebration for the festival turning 25 years, Lollapalooza will now be a 4-Day weekend in 2016.
Beginning Thursday, July 28 and going through Sunday, July 31, Grant Park will be the host to more than 170 musical performances. That’s a lot of music. Lollapalooza founder, Perry Farrell promises a “fantastic party”. “When the party can’t wait for the weekend, the movers and shakers make it happen on Thursday! So, we’ve put together an entire additional day of music to celebrate our milestone year”, said Farrell.
Tickets for the Chicago summer staple will go sale March 22nd at 10am CT. Four-day General Admission tickets will be $335 (including fees) and Single Day General Admission tickets will be available for $120 (including fees).
